Pärnu has 70 kilometers of bike paths. This means that you can bike everywhere, which is why biking is very popular among the locals. In a few hours you can make a big tour in the city, seeing areas that the average visitor often does not get to.
Pärnu Bay is one of the best places to surf in the Nordic countries. The shallow water that deepens very gradually, sandy bottom, favorable winds and warm water create good conditions for surfing. Of course you can swim in the sea and the river throughout the year!
Pärnu Bay Golf Links (opened in autumn 2015) is a versatile golf complex that has five par-3 tracks in addition to an 18-hole course and a driving range for longer or shorter strokes. This is the first links-type course in the Baltic countries with a length of 4,500 to 6,200 m.
Pärnu Tennis Complex is located in the midst of greenery a few hundred metres from the Maia Residence. The centre has six outdoor courts and a modern complex with six indoor courts. The state-of-the-art Novacrylic surface material and technology are used on the courts.

Pärnu Beach is only a 15-minute walk from the City Centre. Thanks to the shallow and rapidly warming water of Pärnu Bay, Pärnu Beach is an excellent place for bathing. On warm summer days, the temperature at Pärnu Beach may even rise to 30 degrees. Set in 2010, the record water temperature at Pärnu Beach is 33 °C!
The coastline of Pärnu is nearly 2 kilometres long, which means that there is room for everyone. The area around the Beach House is the most popular.
